I'll Take You to a Place I Know...

Ill Take You to a Place I Know...

Continuing my work with Manchester reggae band (and good friends) Jeramiah Ferrari we soon went on to collaborate on a second shoot with awesome local photographer Jonathan Clover.

With the guys still undecided on what exactly they wanted for an overall 'band image' we decided to try something completely different to the last shoot... less clean cut with colour and more gritty, street inspired styling (way more up my street!) We wanted to find the perfect look to complement the new music the band were creating; and boy did I have fun playing around with the clothes!

Oh, and don't forget to check out the band at www.facebook.com/jeramiahferrari, they've just recently released a new EP which is amazing!

It's All About the Music...

It's all About the Music

So, recently I've been very busy with my new internship at Sticks of Narnia & setting up my own clothing label Pretty in Punk... so busy in fact that I've had no time to update the blog! However, with a few spare hours this rainy Friday night I thought it about time I shared some of my recent work with you...

Over the past few months I've been working with my great friends (& boyfriend)  Jeramiah Ferrari in order to put together some new & fully styled promotional imagery. The experience has been both extremely enjoyable & very hard work and finally after months of anticipation I've been given permission to release the pics!

So for your viewing pleasure here are my very first, fully proffessional styled images...

Talk that Talk

Talk that Talk
It was announced a few weeks ago that the one and only Rihanna will be designing a capsule collection for the great British High Street store River Island... and I am very excited! Set to hit the stores in Spring 2013 this new collection can't come quick enough for me...

"I've been wanting to design my own collection for some time," Rihanna said to Vogue. "River Island is the perfect partner for me to collaborate with and working with a British, family-run business also really appealed to me. I find London really inspiring and River Island loves to have fun with clothes. I'm looking forward to working with them and creating something really special."

I'm personally hoping her inspiration will come from her own personal style... a mix of sexy, urban pieces with a hint of real street grunge! Here's some of my fav Rihanna looks from 2012...
